Shipping & Returns
1.1 Order Fulfilment & Production
All B2B orders placed through our platform are made-to-order and crafted as per the buyer’s specifications. This approach allows us to offer custom sizing, design flexibility, and curated production batches that align with the buyer’s commercial requirements. Because every order is initiated specifically for you:· Orders cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded once confirmed.
· Any exceptions require written approval and may involve additional administrative or material recovery costs.
· It is the buyer’s responsibility to review and approve all specifications—design, size, quantity, delivery timelines—before confirmation.
1.2 Shipping Charges & Methods
Domestic Orders (India)
· Orders below ₹20,000 incur a flat shipping fee of ₹1,000.
· Orders above ₹20,000 will have shipping charges calculated and billed based on order size, weight, and delivery location.
International Orders
· All international orders are billed at actual shipping costs, calculated based on volumetric weight, destination, and carrier rates.
· Buyers may choose to:
. Use Ekanta’s trusted logistics partners, ensuring coordinated tracking and delivery, or
. Arrange their own courier pickup, in which case shipping risk transfers to the buyer upon pickup.
1.3 Delivery Timelines
Delivery times are estimates based on production schedules and carrier commitments. While we make every effort to meet stated timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by:
· Carrier service interruptions
· Customs clearance processes
· Unforeseen weather or logistical disruptions
1.4 Risk & Title Transfer
Once the goods are handed over to the shipping carrier, all risk of loss, damage, or delay passes to the buyer. Title to the goods also transfers at this point, even if Ekanta continues to assist with tracking or claims.
1.5 Returns & Quality Assurance
Quality Control
Every item undergoes strict quality checks before dispatch, including inspections for:
· Fabric integrity and finish
· Embroidery and embellishment workmanship
· Sizing accuracy
Return Eligibility
We only accept returns in the case of manufacturing defects. To initiate a return:
· Notify us in writing within 48 hours of receiving the shipment
· Provide a clear unboxing video showing the defect upon first opening
· Upon verification, we will:
. Arrange return shipping at our cost
. Issue a full refund or replacement, depending on buyer preference and availability
No returns are accepted for:
· Size variations within acceptable tolerance limits for hand-crafted items
· Buyer’s change of mind, aesthetic preferences, or resale challenges
· Minor variations in color/finish caused by differences in screen displays or handloom processes
